My two-year-old Pittie, Blaze, is a bit of a food snob. Unless there's a bag of trash hanging around, that is. Still, while Blaze might partake in the occasional counter-surfing, or trash sniffing, she's picky about what goes in her bowl (and if she doesn't like, it definitely stays there). She also won't eat any humdrum treat, either. She's a choosy little pup, and that's okay. It might even keep her healthier.

For pups like Blaze, finding supplements they will eat can be tough. Recently, she got her paws on a new line of supplements from Pupper that I hoped she'd gobble up without hesitation. Here's how it went down.

What is Pupper?

Pupper is a new line of premium supplements for dogs that aim to support pup health in a variety of ways. They offer supplements for everything from joint health to immune support and everything in between. They also have food toppers, balms, and shampoos to help pups thrive. Pupper products come in sleek black-and-white packages, and they definitely appear modern, healthy, and well-made. They called themselves "the future of pet health," and it doesn't feel like a stretch.

Pupper is a new line of premium supplements for dogs

While Pupper's products strive to be tasty, they all have various health benefits. For example, the sundry soft chews are certainly a treat, but one containing 35 vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. They contain all-natural ingredients like turmeric and other ingredients to support digestion and immune function. Other products aim to support connective tissue, fresh breath, allergy support, and more.

I tested the following items from Pupper:

There is no shortage of options to choose from.

My dog couldn't get enough

Pupper is more than just a company that makes dog treats. It's a brand that seems incredibly conscious of a dog's overall health. There is no shortage of options to choose from, and I was happy that my dog really seemed to enjoy almost every item she tried. The chicken food topper was a favorite, and once the package was gone, Blaze would stare at me waiting for me to sprinkle some on her food. Knowing that it was giving her a dose of cod liver, blueberries, salmon oil, and other essential vitamins in every handful was an added bonus.

Ingredients are all natural

All the ingredients in Pupper items supposedly help dogs live longer, healthier lives, and it felt good to see her chow down on those tasty items every day.

Some of the products are a bit on the pricey side.

The fresh breath chews weren't our favorite

There wasn't much I didn't like about Pupper, and when it came to my dog, the only supplements she didn't quickly gobble up were the fresh breath chews. Luckily, Blaze doesn't need too much support in that area.

The treats can get expensive

Some of the products are a bit on the pricey side, but so are many supplements that don't have such high-quality ingredients. It's a trade-off and one I'd be willing to make again to give my dog well-made treats. Thankfully, Pupper offers subscription plans that give you 20% off your order, and they're easy to adjust if you need to skip a delivery. And for $99, you can get all nine Pupper supplements delivered to your door every month.

What certifications does Pupper have?

Pupper claims all its products are fully backed by science. However, unlike many other dog treat brands like Yummers and Pawstruck, we couldn't find a dedicated landing page on the Pupper website that digs into the actual science behind the brand. Most dog food and supplement brands detail their process for vetting ingredients and tout a veterinarian or nutritionist who vets recipes and helps curate offerings—we couldn't find either for Pupper.

I’d recommend them to anyone.

Yes.

Pupper supplements really do seem like the future of pet health, and I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking to help their pup stay a step ahead in terms of maintaining excellent pup health. While I know I could walk into a chain pet store and pick out some supplements for my dog to try, they'd likely all be filled with a ton of unwanted ingredients. Pupper is focused on being all-natural, healthy, and providing optimum pet health support, and it shows. From the clean packaging to the clean ingredients, it really feels like a brand you can trust. And in my house, it is definitely pup-approved.

However, we recommend caution—as with any consumable product, we can't guarantee the veracity of the brand's claims. We're especially cautious with Pupper since we don't see any kind of vet or nutritionist backing of the product called out on the site. While I had a great experience with the brand, I'd recommend you do your research on the ingredients and their effects before purchasing.
