The fall TV season is just around the corner and there are plenty of great shows to watch. Whether you're in the mood for something new or are feeling nostalgic, Disney+ has a plethora of titles to choose from. If you're worried about another streaming bill bloating your monthly budget, the site is offering new and returning customers a special discount for its starting tier for a limited time only.

The Disney+ Basic tier, which includes ads before and during its content, typically runs streamers $7.99 a month. But, through Wednesday, September 20, you can sign up for the tier at a 75% discount for just $1.99 a month for the first three months. This discount applies to both new members and returning streamers missing the history of Disney magic on their home screens. The standard monthly fee will kick in after the three-month trial but still saves you more than the Disney+ Premium tier at $10.99 and the various Disney+ bundle packages with Hulu and ESPN+.

How much does Disney+ cost?

Starting today, September 6, you'll pay $1.99 a month for the first three months of Disney+ Basic, instead of the usual $7.99 monthly price. If you want to watch your favorite shows and movies uninterrupted, you can pay $10.99 per month for an ad-free Disney+ Premium plan. The Disney+ Premium plan will also include downloadable content, so if you want to stream without Wi-Fi you'll be able to download films and series with the ad-free tier.

Meanwhile, consider investing in a bundle with Hulu or ESPN to get the most out of your subscription. You can get Disney+ and Hulu together with the Duo packages at $9.99 a month for the ad-supported tier or $19.99 a month for no ads. There's also the Trio packages with ESPN+ added to the aforementioned streaming pair for $12.99 a month with ads or $19.99 a month to get TV, movies, and sports without ads.
